Labour are to the right of reform on unnecessary cruelty. Tommy Fakenames is literally celebrating Labour policy.

They are now talking about stealing belongings of refugees & making them a permanent under-class.

They are two or three news cycles from talking about tattooing numbers on their arms.

Helpful reminder that PIP has a "fraud" rate in the last three years of 0.2%, 0.0% (not a typo) and 0.4%.

Most due to people improving in condition but not navigating the process of reporting correctly.

Therefore every pound cut will have to come directly from someone who is or was eligible.
The vile Starmer government it really targeting disabled people here.

A £1bn cut in the motability scheme, that gets cars for disabled people - I have a friend who needs this to live an independent life - out of a total of £2.8bn. That means it is cutting the scheme by more than ONE THIRD!

Clearly, Mandelson should go. The quicker the better.

Starmer should stop hesitating for fear of it looking like an implicit judgement of Trump.

Starmer explicitly backed Mandelson multiple times in PMQs today.

That's like deliberately supergluing yourself to a live grenade.

He is astronomically bad at this.

I've never seen so much buzz around the Green Party.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social is very media trained, stays on message even around the gotchas and bait, and is delivering a message that cuts through the noise.

Question to Zach Polanski at the leadership announcement:

"Q: How can you take on Nigel Farage when your policy on immigration is so different?"

Everything wrong with British politics and media summed up so succinctly in a single absolutely unhinged question.

@elliechowns.bsky.social doing a reddit ama and using terf language to refer to cis women as biological women, as if trans women are cyborgs, and terf arguments like trans women should be imprisoned with men, is incredibly disappointing.

A&E cannot win. Greens can't have a terf leadership in 2025.

I've been low on time recently so not kept up with the news in detail.

But I'm pretty horrified at what I half heard this weekend, something about how punk hip hop artists have been gunning down unarmed civilians queueing for aid as a continuing cycle of war crimes.

We're about an hour away from hearing how Britain needs to spend trillions in weapons and delivery platforms like F35s to defend against non violent peace activists with paint.

Do you think we can trick Starmer into lifting the two child cap if he thought he was purchasing MOAB bombs and in the fine print it says it's actually investing in mothers of all babies?

Farage's Reform want to allow the super-rich to buy their way out of paying UK tax for just £250k.

This would cost the country an estimated £34 billion in lost revenue.

Rather than exempting the wealthiest, the Green Party would tax them properly to help fix our public services.

🤯 CEOs at FTSE350 companies are paid 52 times more than a typical worker on average.

📈 These levels of inequality cannot continue.

💚 We would bring in a maximum 10:1 pay ratio, meaning the highest-paid employee couldn't be paid more than 10 times what the lowest-paid earns.

Saving £5bn by cutting pip, and in work benefit that recognises the extra cost of living disabled face, while also increasing spending on bombs on missiles despite facing zero threat they would defend against, is absolutely monstrous.

71% of the country doesnt support Reform, per current polling.
