As much as we need the talented firebrand that is Jasmine Crockett in the democratic tent, I do not think she can win a statewide election in TX. I hope if she is the nominee I’m proven wrong.

It’s amazing/infuriating to me that GOP will pass a raft of laws based on “protecting children” e.g., banning books, drag shows, and access to social media. Yet, it’s considered “moral panic” to shame people for engaging w/ a person who is known to have sexually assaulted and trafficked children.

Someone in Congress needs to step forward and put out into the universe that when the Trump administration ends (or he dies, whichever comes first), a democratic Congress intends to claw back these ill gotten gains for the benefit of the country from Trump and/or his heirs.
