If you run a business and get AI to design your logo, you are advertising to the World that you would prefer to have a shitty logo in order to save a few hundred quid and would be likely to cut corners elsewhere in your operation.

Caller on @bbc5live.bsky.social saying that they’re not ‘well off’. Mortgage free, in a £300k house that they will leave to their 2 children. Quote “it’s only worth £300k”.

Check your bloody privilege!! I’m effing livid!

After years in the motor trade which, although I loved it, was slowly killing me, I took a punt at something I’d never thought of&was totally unconnected. No previous experience or qualifications, head down&went for it. Hard work pays off, been doing what I do now for 18 years& I love where I’m at.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

Wow! Badge snobs say what you want, but these were great little cars. What a time warp example.

Oh lord, so much!

Examples-
A Smart C450 front wing.
An F5000 rear tyre.
A NOS set of Toyota Touring Car brake pads.
An MG Metro front grille.
A Suzuki Ignis parcel shelf.
What weird car thing do you inexplicably own that is not a car?

Me: DeLorean tool kit. (I do not own a DeLorean car.)

Turbo Tuesday: I offer a service for all you model collectors out there - original art for your scale models! Sometimes, the backdrops aren’t all that interesting, are they? If you’d love to own original art but don’t have wall space, why not use it to enhance your collection instead..?

Going through some ‘stuff’ I’ve collected over the years, and flicked through an old race-day programme from 1986 to see this advert.
How many did they sell? Are there any still out there?

Day 4 of half-term was spent largely travelling. However, still managed to come face to face with a Cave Bear, marvelled at countless beautiful gem stones, witnessed two happy couples who had literally just gotten married and met a friendly dog named Stanley.

3rd day of half-term drawing to a close, been lovely too. A jaunt across The Wicker Man country, a short walk on the beach, a glimpse of Northern Ireland and a lovely little tour of a Hollywood/TV actor owned distillery.

2nd day of half-term almost done. Enjoyed the delights of Lorne sausage, local haggis&a lovely meal to celebrate a 40th anniversary.
Spotted a chap rocking not only double denim, but a cowboy hat too&we happened upon an elderly man laid in the street with a horrible head wound.
Anyway, now the wine.

Slightly tatty diesel survivor spotted.

First full day of the half-term holidays about done.

Seen a man with no ears, another man urinate all over his own mobile phone, and someone drive straight over a set of extension ladders at a healthy 70 mph on the M6.

Anyway, lovely Chinese meal had, a comfy sofa calls.

Whilst MiniGTE is doing her weekly Olga Korbut (one for the teenagers….), I get to enjoy the bloody marvellous Copacetic in relative peace.
