Dartmouth, Devon, from a long-gone shop just down from St. Saviour's Church. I'd had records before (Music For Pleasure kids' 45s) but they'd have been bought for me. I think I got this with a record token. I wanted 'The Wombling Song' but they said they didn't have that, and this was 'the new one'

The 'Womble Mania!' exhibition is likely to still be at the Heights of Abraham attraction in Derbyshire next year, and you can meet the Wombles there at weekends and during school holidays: www.tidybag.uk/2025/07/womb...
