We are this way because our institutions worked. We assumed that professionals would take care of things. We don’t have terrible diseases because scientists could do their work. People forgot. Sad they have to learn the hard way.
Americans have bystander syndrome. Most just stand around waiting for someone else to do something. No is coming to save us.

When Robinson served in the Army during WWII, the military was segregated. He was drafted in 1942 & served until 1944. There was no inclusion!
