I think these are different cases for a lot of reasons. But I do want to raise a concern.

Remember when the court let stand an obviously-unconstitutional-based-on-precedent abortion ban in Texas? Because clever procedure? And didn't reach merits? And then later overturned the precedent?

I do.
And I keep seeing folks saying this is just about the nationwide injunction, not the merits – but here’s the thing. If this court believed in birthright citizenship, they would not allow this administration—which is hell-bent on deporting and citizens has already deported citizens—to keep at it.
3. If birthright citizenship falls substantively – and it seems like it will – this will affect more than just single generations. If you think MAGA won’t turn this into a domino type movement seeking to expel entire families whose citizenship is premised on birthright, I fear you are wrong.

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government.

No one has heard from you in 44 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

I never thought I’d have something positive to say about Joe Rogan but this is the right message that will reach a lot of people who might not otherwise stop to listen.
Joe Rogan explains to his audience why due process is important and quotes Ben Franklin — "it is better 100 guilty persons should escape than that one innocent person should suffer.”

He argues against shipping people to a prison in El Salvador without trial because we think they’re gang members.

It's now been over a month since Trump sent innocent man Andry Hernández to one of the world's worst prisons because of "Mom" and "Dad" tattoos. Like the others, he is being imprisoned with no contact with the outside world.

Don't let him be forgotten.

Trump: "We should've all been gone bc they gave us only a few years left on earth, right? The environment. No. What they have to worry about is the nuclear heat ... you don't have to worry about the ocean rising 1/4 of an inch within the next 600 years giving you a little more waterfront property"

This guy is in one of the worst prisons in the world with no way out and may spend the rest of his life there because, it appears, he has an autism awareness tattoo in honor of his little brother.
