Some of the most headline-grabbing work that claimed it does is now actively disavowed by the institution under which auspices it was done. That is a MASSIVE ding on the reliability of that research.

This is a solution and one lots of people are going to. It works. It’s also pedagogically terrible. Fundamentally ableist in structure. It assesses skills that are not the relevant skills for any meaningful intellectual activity. It represses skills that are meaningful. I don’t have an answer.

the only regret with transitioning i have is that i didn’t act on it sooner even though it’s what i wanted. in the last decade we finally got a point where it was socially acceptable for people to transition younger, and they’re trying to take that away and it breaks my heart
