This graphic I just came across on the other site is insane. The 2023 JJ McCarthy stats before and after Connor Stallions’ resignation are insane.
The graphic only shows the last five games but he played seven games after Stallions resigned. Michigan State was game 8 of the before sample.

I would have drafted a lot less Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty in best ball this year if I had dug a little deeper and learned this Pete Carroll nugget in the offseason. Multiple sons on the coaching staff, none of them coaching a position group performing at an NFL level.
The important thing is that Pete Carroll's son, coaching the worst offensive line in football, keeps his gig.

I would say the Vikings should re-roll on QB in the draft, but I don’t think any of the QBs coming out are even as good of a prospect as McCarthy was lol.

I doubt this “fixes” JJ McCarthy, but I am interested to see how he looks behind a fully healthy offensive line. If he at least has time to throw, he may stop throwing fastballs only and actually use some touch to help him gain some confidence.

I doubt this “fixes” JJ McCarthy, but I am interested to see how he looks behind a fully healthy offensive line. If he at least has time to throw, he may stop throwing fastballs only and actually use some touch to help him gain some confidence.
