Another UW midfielder that may be of interest is Joe Dale. Dale’s a redshirt junior who’s been deployed in a number of positions, but primarily in midfield. He's a Seattle kid who played academy ball with Seattle United and has spent 4 seasons with Ballard FC. He was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team this year and pitched in 2 goals and 5 assists in 24 starts. He’s got a good motor, covers ground well and gets into and wins a lot of duels, but his ability to help control games with possession is lacking. If he’s available when the Sounders are up he wouldn’t be a bad pick, but may not be worth moving up to get him.

Seeking Volunteers for a VA Research Study We are doing a study to help us understand how foot movements change on different artificial turf surfaces. Sports fields commonly use artificial turf surfaces which can have different levels of traction. Traction can impact a user's performance and injury risk. By studying foot movements on these surfaces, we may learn more about how to reduce risk of foot and ankle injuries when using artificial turf surfaces. This study involves: • Running and turning tests. • A CT scan and X-ray images of your lower legs and feet. We are looking for volunteers who are male or female, age 18-60, play soccer or have played soccer, wear men's size 10-16 shoes or equivalent (other sizes may be purchased if necessary), and receive their medical care at the VA. My wife isn’t on here (thank god), but I just want to take a second to say that it’s really sick that we got married six years ago today. Top-tier decision.
