Calling all artists! How do you draw elves?

Left one looks particularly eerie, like archeological remains of a historical outbreak. Like in a setting where zombies are real and just a medical fact of life, it's something you'd find displayed in an Eyewitness book showing it's been known since at least the middle ages.
