You mean like we have in the UK with the NHS and supposedly Farage and Reform thinks we should be "more like America"
Imagine if health care was just something everyone had, and not a zero sum competition between "good" people and "bad" people
Mike Johnson: "If you're a young, pregnant American citizen women who shows up in an ER and you get treated and they pay the hospital less for treating you than some illegal rabble rouser who came in from some South American country to do us harm, that is wrong."

I will always be grateful for the NHS. The fact that in the UK we don't have to worry about this stuff. From a cut that requires a few stitches to life saving treatment that might require a month long stay in hospital it has it's issues and my nearest proper hospital is an hour away but very grateful
Comer: "We care about the people that are gonna lose -- ah, that could potentially lose healthcare. But there are people that can't afford healthcare. We've gotta get people off Medicaid and into the workforce and into private healthcare."

In the grand scheme of things it's not important at all.
But, for those of us with adhd I know you will feel my pain when I say my chrome browser in my phone somehow deleted my 220+ tabs and I don't know why or how that happened. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If enough time passes, an otherwise healthy person can start to get used to sickness.

They can slowly begin to convince themselves that almost any horrifying, toxic, painful, twisted reality is acceptable.

Republicans want to tell you what books you can read, what bathroom you can use, what words you can say, what history you can learn, what you can or can’t do with your own body and what gender you are… but tell me more about how the Dems are “coming for your freedoms”.

Idiots.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to explain It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to someone and I've decided there's no way to do it that actually makes anybody realize how funny it is. You just have to make them watch it.

My word of the day (and personal recommendation) is ‘snerdling’ (18th century): nestling cosily beneath the covers and holding off the day a little longer.

Morning.
