The pelican mating ritual is super complex and long, and even after watching it for 2 hours, I can't tell you what is a "step in the ritual" vs "something these 2 pelicans are doing on the spot" (except the sex, obviously), but sometimes there's a feather presentation and it's obnoxiously sweet🥰. 🪶
