The parking lot at our Atlanta Publix (grocery store) is insane right now. Had totally forgotten how crazy it gets ....You can just breathe in the excitement and anticipation. Am loving it

A sign I am spending too much time on slack, text and social media is that I am now thinking in emojis it seems! I was speaking to someone irl today and literally felt my head mimic 🤯....

Sometimes at work, you find out too late there’s a story about you.
A 'distracted mom.' A 'DEI hire.' A 'liberal who doesn’t understand business.'
Someone took 2–3 real incidents and turned them into a narrative that suddenly feels louder than years of work. 🧵 (1/7)

I found myself searching for 2025 related themes in Avatar: Fire and Ash but didn't find any. Still liked it way better than Avatar 2.

'For you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not' - Cat Stevens in 'Father and Son'.
Heard this quote earlier this week and its been reappearing again and again in my mind

The YouTube Recap on an old iPad I use exclusively during workouts predictably showed Music and Sports but also apparently Competitive Gaming....And this is how I find out other family members have been secretly using my ipad 🤦‍♀️. Made me feel cool though, to be thought of as a competitive gamer 😜

Exactly how my year went 😜. YouTube got me best out of all the yearly recaps. Such negative incidents happened late September that I gave up on all self improvement and watched mindless 'Whats in my Bag' videos

My mom is boasting that she calmly saw Messi playing in ATL 😀 after riots broke out in soccer crazy Kolkata during a badly organized Messi visit. Apparently there is even a 70 ft statue of Messi with the World Cup in Kolkata. Not sure if even Messi, GOAT that he is, has seen this level of adoration!

My much loved cousin passed away totally unexpectedly late Sept this yr in the UK. My visa was fast but family from 🇮🇳 couldn't even get there for the funeral because the visa from 🇮🇳 took so long. As visa rules to the US get more complicated, I hope they keep a humanitarian approach for emergencies.

Too many mediocre men talk over capable women.

Study of problem-solving teams: Men dominate the conversation, taking 50% more turns and saying 69% more than women. Men with low skill speak more than women with high skill.

It's long past time to value competence over confidence.

This interview with @vitalik.ca at @devcon.org BA (only the 1st min is in Spanish) really brings out both the clarity and confusion in Ethereum's vision. Loved what Vitalik said about the early days.

Went to an energizing, cross functional discussion today on how different industries will look in 10 yrs and am still buzzing from the energy of it and I didn't even take my afternoon shot of caffeine.

The huge gap between countries in terms of AI optimism is striking. I wonder what this will mean for the world as once AI tools are developed, it will be hard to restrict them geographically #ai #artificialintelligence

In Crypto, where male aggression is at its peak, you will be stunned at the kind of behaviors men still find it in their hearts to label as aggressive for women
63 studies: women who assert their ideas, make direct requests, and advocate for themselves are liked less.

They're also less likely to get hired—and it hasn't improved over time.

When will we stop punishing women for violating outdated gender stereotypes?

From my meditation class today - life can be seen not as a ladder but a spiral - what you avoid, what you don't resolve - keep showing up, maybe in other disguises, till you actually face and move through them....🤯

Lyme disease often goes undetected when it's most treatable. These teens are working to change that.
Teens at a Georgia high school may have come up with a better way to detect and treat Lyme disease. They took their idea to iGEM, where they faced stiff competition from China.
