Hello, I'm a lifetime Democrat voter, donor, and volunteer/fundraiser in Arizona. We want Chuck Schumer to do his job and vote NO. There is no such thing as actively collaborating with a dictator to prevent harm. Voting YES for Donald Trump's agenda means YOU own the results. We want Schumer to show some spine. Fight back. Do his job! We didn't vote Democrat to vote for Trump. If Schumer votes Yes, when the "worse things" happen — and we all know they will — everyone will know that Chuck Schumer actively empowered Donald Trump to do it. That Chuck Schumer had a choice, and he chose to go along. The American people want you to use every lever of power possible to stop the fascistic takeover of America. The Senate is supposed to be a check on Presidential power. A "YES" vote goes beyond rank cowardice and into actively choosing the end of the United States. Chuck Schumer must vote No on the CR and budget and whip his fellows to do the same, or else there is no point in voting for or donating to Democrats ever again. The party will be over. I'm sorry I had to reach you this way but your boss is intentionally dodging the accountability he owes the American people. Many people I know are already calling their senators — who promised No votes — to demand they do whatever possible to remove Chuck Schumer from his position. I am one of them. Anyone who votes YES for Trump is no leader, and no Democrat. Amy Fuchs

You aren't allowed to say “risk factor” People often say their goal is to identify “risk factors”. But what does that mean? Some people use the term to indicate potential causes of outcomes. Then just say cause. Others use it to identify predictors of outcomes. Then just say predict. And, sadly, too many others use it as shorthand for factors that are “statistically associated” with outcomes. In this case, say nothing at all, since this “goal” has no clinical utility whatsoever (beyond what it might suggest about causation or prediction). So once you have framed your research question as description, prediction, causation or measurement, there is no longer a need to talk about risk factors. It's basically just a catch-all phrase to cover up muddy thinking.
