A gardener who likes drawing, books & nature as well as chess and now attempting to skateboard at 50+😲. I don't trace, or use a lightbox, or draw lines, just draw with my dodgy eyes 🤓🔎 and a pencil 🖍. NO AI

No labels just me take it or leave it.🇬🇧🇺🇦
My little needle felt family so far. My 1st was Robin, 2nd Hare and 3rd Baby Bunny. Next is a Fox. In the future I would like to create some sort of base, grass, flowers etc. Then I think I will start to collect wool so I can go beyond kits and do my own thing. Still lots to learn.

My latest finished needle felt project. I was aiming for cute but also this was a practice project on learning to do more realistic fur. Also blending colours together.

A new project as I am mostly home alone this Christmas. Slightly daunted mainly because I want to do better than my other needle felt animals that I have so far made. 🤞🦊

Just a little reminder ..... the documentary film projected on Windsor Castle when Trump had his state visit in the UK this year. Film made by Led by Donkeys.

I find it funny how everyone finds it shocking that the Epstein files are all heavily redacted. I read months ago that this would be the case. Money talks

The President of the USA is nothing more than a cowardly keyboard warrior. Shame on him and those who enable him.

I drew this a while ago and my customer (I'm a gardener), who died yesterday, asked if he could buy it. I said don't be daft and handed to him. He was so pleased. For all I know it's still hanging on his wall. RIP Danny xx

For today's #ArtAdventCalendar here's my drawing of a Badger. This one took quite some time and I still think his eyes look a bit wonky but he was a lovely subject to draw.

Happy Tuesday everyone! 🕊️

I lost a lovely artistic customer today, I'm not religious or anything, but I can't help thinking he was saying goodbye 🥲

The brightest potential can only unfold in the absence of self-critical, self-threatening thoughts.

Self-scaremongering, self-shaming, or self-bullying are mental tools that only disturb your best version.

So stop. Be compassionate. Let the being be.

“The Visitor”. I want the title to be ambiguous. Whenever I see coyotes in the ravine I feel an invisible membrane of territory.

This masterpiece by the great artist Steve Huston looks like a painting in water, capable of suspending his subjects in space and time, which thrill with vivid moments of figurative dynamism and give the observer the sensation of being able to literally swim in his brush strokes full of life...
