There's a misunderstanding here in SC that the forecast was wrong. I think that stems from the forecast cone being in Georgia instead of SC.

In the end his heart was in the right place so I don't think it was an egregious decision.

I'm fine with them sounding the siren for a SVR if deemed necessary. It is the insinuation that hook=tornado and saying "NWS got it wrong last time" that rubs me the wrong way.

Also they have an emergency management director so I'm not sure why he is authorizing the sirens to go off?
