We could have abundant, cheap clean energy, and make Big Oil, Saudi Arabia, and Russia irrelevant.

(Well Russia may not be irrelevant, but they won't have the money to wage their brutal war.)

Great summary of trump's "speech" by Nicolle Wallace (paraphrased)......
I'm telling you everything is just great. But, if you, for some reason think it's not, then it's all Joe Biden's fault.

Reporter: One woman said that she was brought to Mar-a-Lago by Jeffrey Epstein when she was 14, and Epstein kind of nudged Trump and said, 'this is a nice one, right?' If two grown men are staying there with a 14-year-old, what message can you take from that? That's a question for Trump to answer.

The US is not going to have a government left. The current regime is dismantling everything and anything that might actually benefit its citizens. Is this what you voted for?

Rep. Castro: I think it's absolutely crazy that a president, after the Iraq war, would come out and say that we're doing this because of oil. But that's the reason. It's corruption, it's power, it's oil and it's land.

Last night, Democrat Gary Clemons won the special election for Kentucky Senate District 37 by a 47 point margin. Democrats have now won or overperformed in 227 of 255 key elections this year - nearly 90%.

Democratic enthusiasm wins elections, especially when Republican failures make it so easy.

Actually, if he refuses to bring the extension of ACA credits to a vote, Speaker Johnson is not only saying that he finds sharply-rising health care costs acceptable, he is saying that they are his goal and that he will sacrifice his credibility and political capital to cause them.

218 members signed the discharge petition to force a vote to extend ACA tax credits.

If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, he’s telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.

"For decades, Rob sought to entertain and enlighten us with his television and film work and to improve the world with his activism. This loss is incalculable.

But my hunch is that Rob would have gotten a kick out of causing Trump to show his worst."
Rob Reiner was a mensch. In death, he showed us Trump’s a schmuck.
The president's remarks about the murder of the filmmaker and his wife cast Trump as petty and callous.

Major fail. Trump never should have been able to run for public office—any public office—ever again.
Former special counsel Jack Smith tells a congressional committee that his team found "proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that President Trump engaged in a “criminal scheme” to overturn the results of the 2020 election, according to portions of his opening statement obtained by NBC News.
