I'm not surprised by their handling of this. I'm not even surprised by how blatant the shooting itself was. I'm not even disappointed anymore. Just very, very angry.

IIRC there was a decision just recently that moved away from considering just that split second and required consideration of the totality of the sequence leading to that split second. I'm not sure it'd be applicable here though.

If your email's just being flagged as spam, not rejected outright with an SMTP error, send a test message to me at [email protected] and I'll look at the headers. They're a pain to read but Google puts a ton of useful information in them.

Also, probably safe to ignore that listing, Google especially isn't going to use a list with that attitude for spam flagging. It'd interfere with too many of their own customers.

Dafuq!?! Yeah, gripe at your hosting provider about their IP address being on a blacklist and have them deal with it or assign you a new IP address.

Filibusters and holds will work if the Democrats don't cave. That'll take new leadership in the Senate though. Again something I think will happen at the midterms.

Impeachment will be possible if Democrats gain control of the House and Senate in the midterms. Maybe before, but I think we'll get there in the midterms at least.

Your server already does TLS for incoming, so outgoing should be trivial.
I wonder about the blacklist response, since a mail server has nothing to do with a website. They may just not give a shit, in which case complaining to your hosting provider may help (it's their IP space after all).

Lack of TLS would be a big red flag. I'd try enabling it (should be trivial for outgoing) and see what that does.

One more reason I want to see residential ISPs given a choice: do something about your careless users or see your connectivity terminated wholesale.

They're probably looking up the name and then looking up and checking all addresses for it. Contaminated IP address space is a big problem, but there's little you can do about it except gripe at your ISP for not checking before buying the netblock...

One thing I found is your MX server is on one IP blacklist for compromised home networks. One good resource is mxtoolbox.c9m/MXLookup.aspx. Do a lookup on your domain, then on the IPv4 entry run a blacklist check. It's the "RATS Dyna" blacklist which I'm not familiar with.

I question whether "invaded" is the right word. We seem to have sent 1 team in to grab 2 people and that's it "Invasion" would imply some kind of ongoing presence there, wouldn't it? I'm guessing nothing there is going to go Trump's way. There'll be plenty of infighting amount Maduro's regime,...
