Just thinking about all the immigrants from these countries who have been coworkers, friends, mentors, classmates, neighbors, in-laws, my husband, etc. and how much shittier this country would be if they not been allowed to immigrate here. The U.S. is cutting off its whole head to spite its neck

Ok one thing I really love about this book cover is how profoundly bisexual it is

One of my favorite local poets is reading at Stir on the 22nd and she’s not on socials so I’m gonna go ahead and tell you to get to know her the old fashioned way and come to our reading! 1246 Folsom in San Francisco, hosted by me and @fabulistmag.bsky.social

This was my neighbor’s pick for short book club, I enjoyed it. Clever and tense and irreverent hard fantasy. Linguistic nerdery. A mostly reprehensible protagonist

I haven’t been outside yet but I will have to, in about an hour, or my mom will be disappointed. But I don’t like it and I’m not prepared

All I want is a game this gorgeous with dinosaurs in it. Not for fighting. Not for hunting. Just dinosaurs, like, around.

Possibly for riding

I just finished Lessons in Magic and Disaster by @charliejane.bsky.social (I know I’m very slow) and it’s so good, and wholesome, and queer, and exactly right, and full of feelings. Highly recommend.

Doing a LitCrawl! Months ago I was given a prompt and asked to curate a lineup. @prioryruins.bsky.social @chloehsmith.bsky.social @nmamatas.bsky.social & Giovanna Lomanto said yes! We were granted the power to change one literary event from history. What did we change? How is the world different?!

Thank you! I think you might actually be my 100th subscriber. There no prize, I didn’t plan for this. But here. Here is a picture of a different oak tree I took the other day. This one lives in El Cerrito next to the BART tracks
