This is why I hate cable companies(ok most companies).
If you accidentally blink in front of them they'll upgrade your crap to high hell but to cancel a simple land line for an elderly person who can't even use the phone, an hour+of work and 20 flaming hoops and a tooth or two. Thanks Spectrum! 🤬

As an aside, it won't really effect us anyway. When we had a need for city support for an issue directly related to this, we were basically given a shrug/there's nothing we can do. These laws don't do anything if the city and city services don't help support and enforce them.
