There is environmental shifts from the Jurassic to the Cretaceous to take into account.

Which would obviously mean a change in plant life, and the decline of their preferred food.

Of course there is so much more that went into the extinction of Stegosaurids, but that is a very long conversation.

Now I say most, because there is some evidence that some Stegosaurids made it to the very Early Cretaceous.

So what does Ankylosaurus have to do with that?

Well, Ankylosaurs as a whole were on the rise and filled a very similar niche.

So it’s possible the Stegosaurids were outcompeted.

Is Stegosaurus your favorite dinosaur?

Well it’s possible my favorite dinosaur, Ankylosaurus, is one of the reasons yours went extinct.

See most Stegosaurids went extinct in the Late Jurassic.

Dinosaurs like Kentrosaurus, Dacentrurus, and Stegosaurus all lived in the Jurassic period.

The more they press us the better we get at organizing, building community, & fighting them, & the better we get at that, the stronger & more joyful our community gets.

We know how to do this we have this blueprint.

We grieve in the morning
We march in the afternoon
And we dance at night

Removing the flag from stonewall is not even a little bit surprising.

They have to keep pointing at the smaller marginalized groups as the real threats to America & queerness is so easy to point to for so many reasons.

Anti queer propaganda has ALWAYS been an easy answer for them.

The young'uns that were hired for the previous MST3K reboot were all very talented, and did a great job, but this time around the concept is, "What if we gave the old farts from the original show a shot?" Why not, right? I think it's gonna be fun.
We're SO excited to announce Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff will be the guest bad guys on the fourth and final show of this run. In addition to that, Trace and Frank will be cowriting this episode along with the RiffTrax gang. We're over the moon!

In my experience 9 times out of 10, whenever someone brings up Pterodactyls they are usually talking about Pteranodon.

Pterodactylus was a small pterosaur that lived in the Late Jurassic.

Pterodactyl is my prehistoric Fairydale. Which if you don’t know, is a book I loathe with my entire soul.

No, it’s not the same.

Yes it actually is that serious! And I’m tired of pretending that it’s not.

Pterodactyl isn’t short for Pterodactylus. (also two letters?? don’t piss me off)

Pterodactyl is a made up term that most people use when they are talking about Pterosaurs in general.
