We toddled down the rest of the hall and into the locker room. Pads and helmets went flying. Skate laces zipped loose. Boisterous chatter filled the air all the way through interviews and showers, eventually dying down as everyone filtered out, either to go out to celebrate or home and crash. Adrenaline could be an odd thing, and none of us ever knew which way it would hit after a game.
