Went for an interview today for a laborer gig this fall, got offered it. I'm taking it, though it's just something to cover some bills this winter. The job market is still bad and not to be too doomy but I think people are gonna really see the impact this winter seaon.

Just had to have a talk with my dad about the job hunt prospect. Tried to explain to him just... the general gist of everything. Without going into too much doom and gloom. But also I keep seeing more and more friends in varying fields now looking for work and struggling. It is... not great.

It really jars my suspension of disbelief. Double points if they do a big time skip and leave the simple misunderstanding unresolved for way too long.

The whole, "Wait! Let me explain!" "No, it's too late!" *dramatically walks away* is so frigging silly to me. Just have a conversation. Like adults. Or be better adults. I GET it's for drama purposes, but it's so flimsy sometimes. Let our character talk it out.

Mess around with a PNGtuber program and made a quick little toad guy as a test. Pretty happy with the results. It's not beautiful animation, but it's fun, and I want to do some more with this stuff.
