Europe should threaten to boycott the World Cup it is about the best negotiating card we have. Problem is that they won’t because the sporting bodies don’t see themselves as political (even though that is just not true, see FIFA peace prize ….)

A US court has already ruled that Trump WAS trying to interfere with the 2020 election result. So hard to prove that the BBC saying that, albeit with a crude edit would be defamation. Especially since they were all words that actually came out of his mouth in the order they came out.

What happened in Australia is horrific. The gunmen and any that helped them are the only people who chose to do this and can never face sufficient justice, to make this right.

So let’s get this right, at the last World Cup the visiting nations had to “respect the culture” of the host nation by being hostile to LGBTQ+ people, but this time it’s the host nation that has to “respect the culture” of the visiting nations by pretending LGBTQ+ people don’t exist?

1)Brexit took 4% out of the economy, imports and exports down 15% compared with remaining in.
2)Lower net migration has caused UK productivity to drop.
3)Billions handed out in Covid contracts to Tory mates.
