"I would smear the bejaysus out of her, simply because you've nothing to lose... you've got to create a fear... in my experience, nothing works like negative campaigning."

They're really openly saying the quiet part out loud now aren't they...🤔

Evictions include people with disabilities and children - 13 of the children go to one local school, and their families will have to move outside the catchment area as there is so little available to rent in Killarney. There's a petition to prevent it here: www.change.org/p/prevent-a-...

It's always fascinating to see what humans without souls look like. Like what would sprout up if you threw Thatchers teeth onto deconsecrated ground.

No lumps greasier, no grease lumpier, the original peanuts & butter peanut butter.

Full of malice and compliance for the sake of an s-word sandwich.

I imagine it'd be like eating lumpy grease, so perfect for those wans who miss having dripping on bread.

I like the idea of literally using "s-word" for any tubular food. Makes it sound like we're dying to call food that's longer than it is wide a slur.

Careful, the EU will take the butter clean out from the title of this beverage unless you get some actual butter in there.

Extremely normal trading bloc

Impossible! I've been recently reliably informed that a sausage is meat that is tubular, that's why it's called schmeausage! Not just any tubular foodstuffs will do.

Class, another right wing nonsense policy that will materially benefit nobody and only exists to appease a fringe of malcontent idiots.

EU lawmakers have voted to ban the use of the term “veggie-burger” and to restrict food descriptions such as steak, escalope, and sausage to products containing meat. The move is part of a proposed regulation intended to protect farmers.

The EU frogmarched into ridicule by the intensive farm lobby. The European Parliament has voted through the Veggie burgers ban.

As the world burns, we make symbolic gestures to show we want to burn it faster.

Aye is that so? Witless pricks.

Would this mean dickmata is a thing then, like stigmata?

More Irish activists have now been taken by the IDF from international waters including author Naoise Dolan, TD Barry Heneghan and psychiatrist Veronica O’Keane.

They are part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

Lmao, I can understand that. When I was in Lampeter there was a lot of Welsh speakers about. Was fascinating to hear like, just out and about.
tofusatyr.bsky.social
Stuff I just don't even consider whenever I look at any other language and am happy to plough into it with reckless abandon and enthusiasm. Idk, I think it's more that than anything. Never looked much at Welsh though.

Tbf, I don't think it's the difficulty that I find intimidating, rather my relation to the language itself. Like, I feel like I have to be so dour and serious with it, and find myself worried I'm letting the side down if not grasping things like "I should" or that I can't get "good enough"
tofusatyr.bsky.social
I need to get back on the horse with me language learning and that tbh, so I'm throwing some mighty stones in this here glass house.

Needless to say, like any good Irishman not currently in Ireland, I've barely enough hours in a day, and also find Irish very intimidating to learn for some reason.
