Just had that ‘one’ kid in class get very upset & disruptive during a Literacy lesson about heroes/villains. He took our discussion about the characteristics of a typical antagonist personally and accused the class of talking about him…😒😬 🤐 #teachers

Watching the news this morning about the building collapse in #Bangkok with my Thai partner when we hear them comment it was a government building…his immediate response: rolls his eyes and says of course if was, they use the cheapest materials and the lowest contractor bid to build them. 😬🇹🇭

As a westerner from the American South, I’ve learned to be wary of ‘red velvet’ cake at bakeries in Thailand. They look pretty but rarely deliver the genuine taste of their namesake. A red cake, does not a red velvet make…😬😂🙏 #thailand

That moment you climb into the back of a Bangkok taxi and are immediately overwhelmed by an unpleasant smell you can’t quite identify, but causes a reflexive grimace nonetheless! Not a food item, mind you…more of a strong chemical smell like hair dye or perm solution. 😬 #thailand

Spent the weekend in Siracha, and probably won’t be rushing back any time soon. We found it quaint, cute and surprisingly developed because of the seaport but the industrial sector was overwhelmingly the star of the show. 😂
