The more I read about how to survive in indie dev by making snappy, quick turnaround streamer friendly roguelike stuff, the more I want to make a incredibly deep RPG with ridiculous levels of simulation.

I do hold some hope related to the work of some genuinely engaged streamers (and youtubers). I have personally found some really cool games via the dedication of some content creators who work hard to check out stuff off the main path.
