Knicks tried to run this play again to get KAT playmaking at the elbow. But, Deuce forgets the play and screens for OG instead of Mikal. You see Mikal clap frustratedly at Deuce then talk to him after the play.
What an impressive outing from Diawara. Loved this drive and kick from him, taking a stalled possession and creating something out of nothing, resulting in the hockey assist.

Just great ball movement in transition from the Knicks, everyone for Miami gets sucked into the paint.

Stat I was surprised to see: The Knicks give up the FEWEST FGAs at the rim per game in the league per @nba.com tracking stats. Going to continue to monitor that, especially as Mitch plays more.

Spectacular sequence from Bridges who hustles back to disrupt the MEM fast break before sprinting the length of the floor for the easy lay-up. Morant's lack of interest in this game continues as he gets toasted by Mikal here.

Loving these KAT inverted pick-and-rolls with deuce as the screener. This time he simply steps back and drains the three. (1/2)

Grizzlies throwing soft double teams at Brunson off pick-and-rolls doesn't seem like the best option. Here he hits Hart on the pocket pass resulting in an OG dunk

Interesting stat around NYK's shot clock mgmt. However, it does feel like NYK is making better use of time vs. last season. They are making more passes per game (rank 5th in NBA this season vs. 18th last year), moving faster on OFF (13th in OFF speed vs. 27th) & driving more (6th in drives vs. 16th)
The Knicks will play Game 10 tonight, and there’s already a lot to digest.

Here’s my long “What I like and don’t like so far” column on the Knicks, equipped with eye-popping stats (both good and bad), analysis and videos:

The story of these last two games has been Mitch's game-changing activity. This play counted in the box score as an OReb for OG, but we know who deserves the credit.

A lot to like here. Hart setting the screen well before half court forcing the switch. Brunson blows by Randle and draws two, putting MIN in rotation. Hart (4/5 from 3 tonight!) attacks the closeout and watch OG set the screen and point to Brunson who knocks down the three.

Mitch was an absolute beast on the offensive glass tonight. Total game changer on that end. When he’s on the floor, opponents can’t afford to hide bigs on Hart because he’ll just destroy you on the boards.

NYK finally came back to this play, getting KAT the ball at the elbow to make a play. This one has reliably gotten the Knicks something good.

Brutal crunch time for KAT. Two wide open missed threes, defensive miscues. Need him to get right.

One benefit of having Mitch back: his gravity as a legit lob threat around the rim. OG had just hit a three in this corner and look how open he is here because of Patrick Williams having to collapse on the Mitch roll.

nice little pin-in screen from Shamet here to free up Bridges for the corner three. Mikal has been so good to start the season.

Can't help but enjoy the bit of irony that the Knicks' best lineup through four games under Brown has been Brunson/Bridges/Hart/OG/Towns.

Good call from Fred on the importance of OG attacking as he catches. Also, really nice live dribble pass from Brunson who whips this to OG one beat before GTJ expected it which helped OG get that step.

Going to be watching the Knicks @ Bucks game with you folks and sharing clips of anything interesting I see here on this thread. Let me know if something catches your eye.

Knicks ran this play several times in the 2Q vs. BOS and got some good stuff out of it. This one almost looks like a happy accident b/c OG and Shamet run into each other but this is the design. (1/2)

One of the many perks of having an elite shooting big, especially one who's so dangerous as a trailer. He completely takes Queta out of the equation here, freeing up Bridges on the backdoor cut. Nice live-dribble feed from Deuce.
