Tangible Vibe Shift, coming soon
what was the powerful message? genuine q as i think it went over my head
January 27, 2026 at 12:21 PM
not at all, you're probably right. i didn't think it was that cynical but clearly it would be with that much money involved
January 27, 2026 at 10:19 AM
But, it's so easy to hit with a giant stone
January 27, 2026 at 10:15 AM
yeah they didn't seem grotesque enough to warrant a threat lol. they just seemed like they were having a laugh but at night time
January 27, 2026 at 10:15 AM
Oh yeah La La Land was fucking awful. I guess Oscar noms are not a good barometer of anything really, a lot of big Hollywood stuff just isn't that good anymore
January 27, 2026 at 10:13 AM
I can't have good opinions all the time. Sometimes they're really annoying
January 27, 2026 at 10:12 AM
Well I think it's a basic measure of a film's popularity x how critically acclaimed it is.
January 27, 2026 at 10:11 AM
I still haven't seen it but that's on the list!
January 27, 2026 at 10:08 AM
😂 honestly totally get it - it was incredibly popular and I guess everyone is desperate for 'original IPs' after so many years of Marvel shite. But genuinely do you think it was worth 16 Oscar noms?
January 27, 2026 at 10:08 AM
It's a way better action film, obviously loads more silly and Tarantino-esque, but the general vibe is the same. And yeah Sinners is a better drama but it also felt incredibly slow paced and meandering
January 27, 2026 at 9:57 AM
It all just felt a bit gimmicky. But everyone loved it and that's the most important thing
January 27, 2026 at 9:55 AM
Is having a different opinion on a film that offensive
January 27, 2026 at 9:53 AM
The whole thing builds up to a vampire showdown that happens in about 15 minutes? Then there's just a random shootout tacked on at the end? And most of the main characters die off screen lol. Like it was a real mess
January 27, 2026 at 9:53 AM
I do think we should try him on the left, especially as Trossard is drying up and Martinelli is our super sub. Arteta just needs to actually experiment with the attack for once
January 27, 2026 at 9:50 AM
Everyone is ragging on Gyokeres but honestly if he had a better first touch I'm sure people would be more or less fine. He's our leading goal scorer in the Prem. We're just an incredibly low output attacking team. Eze also suffers the same way

Karl wasn't wrong.

You better believe it brother

Well when I have money I can exchange it for things I like, which makes me happy. And when I don't have money I can't afford to do some of the things I like, which cost money. So you can see the conundrum I'm in.

Anyone else feeling that vibe? Or is it just a me thing?
