Why should anyone invest in stocks when we know that there’s no meaningful regulation to prevent someone like Donald Trump from crashing the market to benefit himself and his friends? I don’t know if he’s inducing chaos so he can get richer — but he could, and he would. So why invest?

Law firms do good business when businesses do good — when they invest in projects, new products, new factories, etc. That appears to have largely stopped, and it’s hurting law firms.
