No. Christians feel persecuted because there is a vast media apparatus telling them that they are persecuted. There is no evidence whatsoever of large-scale discrimination against Christians in this country.

No. Christians feel persecuted because there is a vast media apparatus telling them that they are persecuted. There is no evidence whatsoever of large-scale discrimination against Christians in this country.
I wasn't expecting a disgustingly unbalanced reporting on Canada's response to the disaster that is US foreign "policy" (if we can call it that) to be the thing that got me to actually open my mouth on social media. But here we are!

Yes. I know some folks who were working on an indie self-rating system and I’m sure they mean well. But there isn’t just potential for abuse with “ratings”: they will be abused. They are a form of censorship. And, not for nothing, they contribute to a hollowing out of critical engagement with media.
(yall gotta stop ceding ground to puritans. don't give them stickers or mpaa ratings or "mature" sections or "clean" imprints. they don't get a little censorship, as a treat.)

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.
