The reviews for my new book have been so encouraging. I was terrified to open up my life to the world, but I never could have imagined the healing it would bring.

There is beauty in everything. Even brokenness. 💔

I love journals like Thorn and Bloom who provide space for mental health and self care. My CNF “When the Walls Come Down” is included in the gorgeous Issue 3 print edition.

“The Senses I Recall” by Lily Vaughan

“and the inside of a book smells
like the sun
when peanut butter sandwiches sound
like my sister’s voice”

A beautiful collection of sense memories and how they come together

The Man Who Wanted to Live Forever Died Today by
@tracieadams.bsky.social - Issue 3

This sharp, witty piece follows Jimmy, who grows up determined to elude his father's fate at any cost. It explores the fragility of control & the question of whether we can escape what feels inevitable.
Thursday Throwback
If there was a booster, he was the first in line. If there was a clinical trial for an anti-aging drug, he did not hesitate to sign the forms promising not to sue. He knew the risks. Watching his widowed mother grieve his father’s premature death set a fire in him. He vowed he would never break her heart like that. He would live forever.

This is heartbreaking. I’m so sorry for your loss. Grief lingers and rears its monstrous head in moments that catch us off guard. I’m stopping to pray for you—that in the midst of today’s grief, you will be surprised by the joy of memories of your sister and that peace will overshadow the pain. 🙏🏼
