Luckily I'm already on Mastodon and have been using the platform since well before this one was created. I don't plan to leave this place just yet but I'm quickly losing my patience with the people in charge (each and every single one of them sucks SO much ass. Like a whole flock of mini Elons!).

If you're wondering Meow[dot]Social is a larger furry community on that platform which is why I also joined it. Plush[dot]City is extremely chill but a far more niche community so there's not a ton of artists on it. Sometimes I like browsing the local feed to look at cartoon animal people ya know.

My spouse got sick last week, bronchitis, and lost over half his paycheck due to it, so I'm open for commissions. Can be pay what you want, and I'll draw something of equal value.

every day on here I see obvious AI-generated bullshit being passed around like it's real and frankly I think social media companies should worry less about users trading insults or "spamming" gofundme links and start nuking those aggregator accounts that post nothing but e.g. unattributed cat photos

I mean yeah we're both aggressive omnivores. I still think pigs definitely need to be farmed better if we're going to eat them. Like pigs are extremely smart emotionally intelligent animals so keeping them in small pens with nothing to mentally stimulate them is just plain cruel.

Yeah some religions have an aspect of colonialism (almost always paired with supremacist beliefs) so no matter the fact they have an aspect of community they're always going to be vulnerable to fascistic tendencies. Many religions obviously don't have this bullshit though.

If I was going to redraw these (no promise I am busy with other stuff right now) I'd mostly just do tweaks to their proportions. Overall I think these design still stand up pretty well.

Seeing so many Digimon posts recently makes me want to revive and redesign one of my fan lines of them. While this fan design goes back to like 2010 (I think) the most recent iteration of them was drawn in 2016 as seen here:

The smallest stage named Studenmon looks like a toddler wearing an lab coat far too large for them.
The middle stage named Sciencemon looks like a older child and now the lab coat is more proportional. They also now have wires coming out of the back of their head and neck bolts.
The final stage depicted is called Experimon and is a large hulking adult humanoid with a single massive bionic arm.

Well I say inventing a slur but as far as I know this was originally applied to robots from Star Wars so its more like an appropriated slur for fictional people that is now being applied to real flesh and blood humans....

Last share: For the love of all things holy speaking as the Internet's number 1 hater of LLMs and genAI just say people are creating slop or something. Inventing a slur for AI use was always going to turn into some weird ableist thing because people use machines for accessibility.
