One thing that's remarkable about this is that everyone seems to recognize that this is an absolutely insane framing. This popped up on Facebook for me, and almost all the comments were calling @ktla.com for this absurd framing.

Genspect are apparently trying to launch a "repathologization" campaign against gender medicine, which is tiring for several reasons including that this is not actually their position, but rather the temporary stance they're taking for now while they work on building the stigma further.
