As with seemingly literally every problem the human race has faced in history, the cause is a lack of quality leadership
transsomething.bsky.social
You can then use this to generate constant media stories. The way to deal with this is for people in power to have the confidence to say something is bollocks and not to constantly both sides 'debates' which are concocted
transsomething.bsky.social
And as we learned from that, the first step in all of these things is framing something with an obvious and well studied correct answer as a debate knowing that doing so means that ~20% of people will choose the wrong answer just out of contrarianism, and immediately you've created a split

In normal times one would think Leavers would realise it's a vote-loser. But that's not the point: as with trans rights they're trying to change public opinion through constant propaganda. It took little over 7 years to go from the cusp of Gender Recognition Act liberalisation to de facto abolition

If you're going to do dubious shit then for god's sake have the competence to not announce it to a room of possibly the least trustworthy people on the planet

Home Secretary tells Sky News that “there is a gap in the law” when it comes to frequent, repeated protests on the same issue. Hence she will be giving police greater powers to move them to another location or time.

Driver managed to stop ours before hitting the downed tree, train going the other way didn't have the same line of sight and so hit and then the tree hit us. Everyone OK on both trains.

A new FOI release shows how the DHSC gave anti-trans lobby groups like Sex Matters & LGB Alliance direct access to shape policy on trans healthcare. These groups push for restrictions that leave trans people waiting, suffering & at risk of suicide.

Men are scared women will laugh at them, women are scared men will kill them. Except old rich cis women who are so privileged that all they have to be scared about is other women rolling their eyes at them

“What a summer of women’s sport.”
“England women will inspire the next gen.”

Why are we whitewashing this year?

Trans women and girls were literally banned. Sex testing was brought back. And Black players are being subjected to racism.

Journalism MUST recognise setbacks as well as progress.

The real generational divide is people who refuse to watch a video if it could be an article versus people who refuse to read an article if it could be a video

New essay: REJECT TRANS DOOM-POSTING.

It's about grief, loss, institutional failures, and the horror of the current moment.

It's also a love letter to trans community, and the things we do with and for one another.
