Finished my first handmade keyboard today! I call it CAPZ 😁 This has been a learning board, meaning I've used it as my test subject for every skill I've learned. I came up with the layout, designed the case in a CAD program, handwired it, and built the firmware. And it works! On the first try!!

For context, this is what I'm working on. Every point represents a lithic in the 3D space of the excavation unit! Locations are not exact, but not fully random either. This is one unit out of about 57 in my site.

Looking directly 👁️👄👁️ at all the archy bros I've been in school with who doggedly evaded learning anything about Indigenous land rights.

This is such a fundamentally goofy undertaking. Sure, let's build a bridge between me, a trans, and someone who thinks I should have my junked checked at the door before I can piss. Like?? There is no such thing "dialogue" between a person who simply exists and another person that hates them for it.

I don't even know what joke to make here. It's blatantly hierarchal thinking but like. He basically got called a noob for being racist and was like "this is systemic silencing of diverse perspectives!" Nah dude. Skill issue.

Both of these links are to other opinion pieces. I haven't read the other two closely, but they don't seem supported by data. Personally, I can think of a *lot* of conservative professors at my university. But we're probably defining "conservative" differently here 🤔

Nah, if I take the words "viewpoint diversity" at face value it's pretty easy to object to. Something about the word "viewpoint" feels less material- more opinion-based than experience-based. It's suspicious to me that it would be worded like that.
