This is such a fundamentally goofy undertaking. Sure, let's build a bridge between me, a trans, and someone who thinks I should have my junked checked at the door before I can piss. Like?? There is no such thing "dialogue" between a person who simply exists and another person that hates them for it.

Even in very "liberal" fields (like anth), you find so many people were weird pockets of conservativism built into their worldviews. This is how a friend ended up in a class with a cultural anth prof who read the f slur as written in an article. because free speech I guess.
