The story of Whyte Python might have come from @traviskennedy.bsky.social's brain, but there is an element of truth to it and therein lies the link to Scorpions.

Check out the full 15 minutes with Travis and meet WHYTE PYTHON!!! 🤘

Well, it is safe to say that this week @alexchurchill.bsky.social and @boneyabroad.com lose a bity of their hard edged objectivity and basically geek out over @traviskennedy.bsky.social.

The Whyte Python World Tour is really that much fun.

Thank you Carla! I hope metal uncles everywhere have a Merry Christmas!
🧵 Books I read this year that might make particularly good gifts for specific people:

For your long-haired uncle who was really into metal bands, who doesn't read often but might pick up a good book for a long flight: @traviskennedy.bsky.social "The Whyte Python World Tour" - quite a fun read.

I've been to the pub, I'm home, the fire is crackling nicely in the grate, I'm drinking champagne and reading @traviskennedy.bsky.social's fantastic The Whyte Python World Tour and loving every page.

The early bits brought back happy memories of the Croydon metal scene in the 90s. 🤘

A 1980s glam metal band goes on tour across the Eastern Bloc to (hilariously) try to destroy authoritarianism—what do you mean you haven’t read it yet?! HOP TO IT! 🎸 @traviskennedy.bsky.social @doubledaybooks.bsky.social

This was a five star book for me, another perfect rec from @sgj.bsky.social 🤘

Thank you Lisa!
Absolutely loved @traviskennedy.bsky.social's Whyte Python World Tour. It's like if Spinal Tap got caught up in the Cold War and the CIA sent them to ensure world peace.

Is there a book you've loved recently?

I love seeing The Whyte Python World Tour getting such nice features in bookstores all over the country! Yesterday, I was sent messages from friends within an hour of each other visiting Mitchell's Book Corner on Nantucket Island, MA, and Maria's Bookshop in Durango, CO. Looking good out there!

What an honor! Every new Stephen Graham Jones book is a must read for me- this really means a lot!
Dude, @traviskennedy.bsky.social’s new novel is Slow Horses taking a stroll through Headbangers Ball. I read it slow because I didn’t want it to end. We need more hair metal novels like this.

Oh, man, The Whyte Python World Tour beat me to this dialogue tomfoolery. Been wanting to do it to make fun of … I’m not sure: the world? Which is why I hadn’t done it yet (just surface/no heart). But, I probably couldn’t have done it this well anyway. Puts me in mind of Pynchon’s “sez.”
