My daughter works at a middle school and after her first active shooter training, she flinched every time a kid slammed their locker door. She was traumatized from the training. I can’t even imagine the trauma inflicted on the people who go through an actual shooting.

As someone who went through breast cancer 18 years ago, this makes me so happy. More cancers need to be eliminated. Too bad our current administration isn’t making cancer research a top priority. Instead they are sending us backwards.

I was born in 1964. Five years ago I started a new job in the medical field & they checked my measles vaccine status. It was not there. My husband checked a few months ago & his was gone too. PLEASE, get checked, you might be vulnerable. He got the 2 shots at CVS.
Your doctor can perform a blood test to check for measles antibodies.
If you got a measles shot between 1963-1967 and or only received one dose, you may need a booster.
Vaccines have proven effective since 1796.

Hundreds of kids in S Carolina are being quarantined right now because of a measles outbreak.
I don’t have patience for niceties when it comes to this crap, so if you’re an anti-vaxxer, keep your damn kids at home and don’t travel for the holidays.

This is so wrong and could have been prevented.
@mayorq.bsky.social not sure if it was a good idea to change Broadway starting at 31st Street from 4 lanes to 2. It now gets backed up heading south, especially during rush hour. Someone needs to monitor between 31st and Linwood. This congestion didn’t happen before the change.
