I potted up the leaves today and took pics of the wick setup to show you.
Wicks keep African violets happy. The jay-cloth in the bottom of the pot is because of the holes, it’s not needed for wicking. A bit of synthetic yarn in the bottom of a pot with less drainage will work fine.

Good morning. For winter indoor color, get some African Violets. These bloom and bloom and bloom. Water once every two weeks. Repot every year, twice if you can remember. Divide every two years. Makes a lovely gift.
