I am so thankful for TJ Klune's books. Just finished Beyond the Sea and I'm crying happy tears.

"This is How you Lose the Time War" had the audacity to make me cry despite being so short.

Note to self: the key to beating sadness that pops up for me with no reason is super spicy food.

I'm so excited for my trip to New Orleans that it hardly felt difficult waking up at 4 AM to catch my flight.

My attempts to self care out of depression appear to be working. I figured they would, but it's still a relief that the call of the void is a lot quieter.

Figure modeling is such an interesting experience. There I sit, naked, very aware of the parts of my body that are holding me up, internally laughing to myself about the things I hear going on around me but trying hard not to emote so as not to ruin anyone's chances of drawing my face.

If Females Could Get Pregnant, There’d Be An Abortion Clinic On Every Coral
Despite the tide of aquatic opinion flowing in favor of reproductive rights for all, marine society still gives male seahorses very little say over what happens to their own bodies. Instead, we are treated as passive baby-making machines. Meanwhile, if it were the female seahorses who could get pregnant, there’d probably be an abortion clinic […]

I'm attempting to self care myself out of depression. I did hella laundry and hella cooking yesterday and got to the gym and have started tracking my macros to try and prevent myself from getting the beetus. Even if I don't beat the depression, at least I'll feel physically better?

Hey tattooers, if your client has adhesive or latex allergies, highly suggest testing their skin before you use saniderm on a new tattoo. Thankful I've never actually tried it on a tattoo! This was after being on overnight

Nothing like a good cry first thing in the morning from a cat on the internet named Garbanzo finally trusting a human enough to get the physical affection she so desperately wanted but was too traumatized to receive.

I understand how you feel, Banzo.

Every time I get depressed, I get Sugar Ray's Fly stuck in my head but my brain replaces the word "fly" with "die" and it's a weirdly upbeat way to experience depression.

Don't let your cats out. Don't feed them raw poultry. If you see a dead bird, put on gloves or wrap it in a plastic bag then burn it. We're on our own this time, people.
