The machinery of State terror.

The Russian and German systems for moving, detaining and killing regime opponents and targeted groups involved 1000s of sites, large and small, supported by an extensive transport network.
"The large warehouses would be located close to major logistics hubs in Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Georgia and Missouri. Sixteen smaller warehouses would hold up to 1,500 people each."

I couldn’t either…
I consider myself a fairly patient person, but I can't listen to another second of this ridiculous, wheezing idiot. I'm done. Nothing he is saying aligns with anything that is really happening in the real world.

I've got to say, this weekend, from students preparing for finals at Brown to Jews celebrating the festival of Hanukkah on Bondi Beach...it felt as if Yeats' awful vision were coming true:

"The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned."

There hasn’t been enough appreciation for how thoroughly BENNIE THOMPSON humiliated FBI official GLASHEEN after he tried to sell the lie that ANTIFA is the top domestic terror threat.

The claim collapsed because it’s a cover.

If telling troops they must disobey unlawful orders is sedition, you’re gonna have to hang all the military academy instructors, boot camp drill instructors and training manual authors, along with every member of congress that authorized the UCMJ by voting yes on the most recent NDAA.

Rewatched some Star Trek tonight.
Still wild how a show about warp drives and weird nebulae ends up teaching the cleanest lessons about being human.
Every episode says the same thing in its own way:
‘Be curious. Be brave.

Absolutely right. We need much more serious reform than just increasing subsidies.
I hope the Dems realize that if they extend the ACA subsidies, and take no other steps, they are giving carte blanche to the biggest insurance companies and major hospital systems to find new ways to game the system and increase costs.

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

Nothing says I don’t actually support the 1st amendment like defending MbS for murdering a reporter while insulting two reporters.
HAYES: “2 female reporters asking obviously totally newsworthy Q’s — one gets called ‘PIGGY’ the other gets called ‘INSUBORDINATE’ because she didn’t bow and scrape to the Saudi King.”
