Flu positive rate rose to 11.6% weekending Nov 25 (from 10.7%). Health chiefs said the highest positivity was in children aged 5–14.

Worldwide mortality experience since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2024) shows excess deaths over that period in almost every country measured. Australia (+6%) was below average, and New Zealand (+0.1%) the lowest we measured.

There is $1 million budgeted for the legal assistance needed for NACC to properly reconsider the Robodebt referrals - this funding ends in February 2026 and I hope for all of us that means there will be answers and accountability at this time (6+ years after Robodebt ended).

We are meant to believe the NACC is still trying to establish if somebody should be held to account on #Robodebt.
They are now preparing for their Xmas time-off while victims and their families have to see off yet another year without justice. I’ll be thinking of them this Xmas.
It’s almost 2yrs since the day Commissioner Catherine Holmes handed down her final report on Robodebt & referred those responsible for criminal prosecution. It was a day we felt like finally something was happening.
I’m so sorry to all victims who are STILL waiting for justice.
