I’m most impressed by the selection of Lina Khan. She was a bulldog at the FTC and her name is the cross of a bad ass rock and roll chick and a medieval giant.

I hate when folks do this. I don’t like the guy either but this is out of context. The question was what other renovations does he want to do… his priority is just this…. For renovations not just like in general. Altho I’m sure that’s true too, but let’s put in the context.
Today, the White House Press Secretary told the country that this ridiculous damn ballroom is “the president’s main priority”…not reopening the government, not lowering the cost of groceries, not lowering the cost of housing, not lowering the cost of healthcare….building a ballroom

You get used to it or grew up around it. Has a plumber fix the faucet. Open carrying. Does he think 110# me is gonna kill him? Picked up an ice maker in BFE Michigan a few weeks ago. Seller had a revolver on his hip. These guys put on a gun every time they put on pants. I dont acknowledge it.

Husband had a charter ask how often he sees rafts with immigrants.

I know you can get so off shore you forget you’re on Lake Michigan but like where are these immigrants coming from, Canada?!

I’ve randomly found 3 set screws in different parts of the house and all different sizes in one week.

I’ve never found one randomly before.

Now I expect 3 door handles to magically fall off!

I know CNN likes to fake on site stories and this interview with the guy sailing around the world is super fake looking. Actually this guy’s whole deal seems fake.

The key to selling something online is to go out of town.

Every time.

Item will be there a year and then bam!

Sorry, bud, have to wait until I’m back for me to send.

Never will get people on FaceTime at 6 am loud in a public place.

I find a quiet spot in airport and this is where this lady pulls up to FT with her grandkid that can’t even talk yet.

Is this necessary? No wonder people can’t unlatch.

Is the Bill Maher thing a Trump PR tour thing? I had an old boss who reminded me of Trump. I used to say so. She would say wacky stuff in front of the company, was a damn idiot - but you know what? She was a nice person in small groups or alone, but she was still a rich idiot.

So we could lose $200B in tourism, $100B in immigrants paying taxes, $100B in weapons manufacturing, $500B in lost tax revenue from firing IRS employees… is it sinking in yet?
International tourism is worth $200 billion every year to the US economy.

Sorry, *was.

Was going to get Tina Fey, Amy Pohler tickets for a friend as a gift and by the time I got on they’re mostly resale already. The standards are $125 for the worst seats. Guess I’ll hang tight and buy day of for cheaper bc the scalpers won’t be able to offload in this economy.

The sun is OUT. Always a win in the Midwest in winter.

Industry acquaintance in Traverse City said they’ve had zero days. We’ve had a few a week.

It makes a difference.

Whether it’s Ronald Reagan conspiring with Iranian Ayatollahs to delay the hostage release until after Carter’s defeat or Donald Trump conspiring with Netanyahu to delay a ceasefire agreement until after Biden’s defeat, Republican presidential candidates….
