American Oversight, a "non-partisan nonprofit committed to promoting transparency and ensuring
accountability of government officials" [ECF No. 717 p. 1 ("American Oversight Motion")]. The second Motion is filed by the Knight First Amendment Institute, a "non-partisan, not-for-profit
organization that works to defend the freedoms of speech and the press in the digital age through

First Amendment Institute Motion)]. These Non-Parties seek to intervene in this closed criminal

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

More people are going to disappear without a trace if there is no accountability and oversight for ICE. There has already been a case where a man was hung in ICE custody with his hands and legs bound. Something similar probably happened to this man and they got rid of his body to escape scrutiny.

Americans shouldn't have to worry about being harassed, detained & imprisoned just because they fit an arbitrary racial profile. If there is no due process for everyone, NO ONE is safe. The presumption of innocence is the cornerstone of our justice system. Take that away & you have a fascist regime.
