Been raining hard since 8pm yesterday, and not supposed to stop until after midnight tonight, and I’d been looking forward to getting home from work & reading a high fantasy while the rain pours, but as soon as I pull onto my street it stops and the sun comes out.

My mom, a master gardener, was gifted some orchids from a fellow gardener, but Mom says orchids “aren’t her thing” so she asked if I wanted them and I said sure even though orchids are probably a bit high for my skill level, so now I have orchids and Mom even threw in a free book about orchids.

I’m not into true crime and serial killers and my coworker asked me if I was going to watch the Ed Gein documentary and I told him I had no idea who that person was and he reacted like I had stated I’d never heard of the Beatles or something.
