So, important note. In MN, this is not the police union, but a separate state-level lobbying group.
In some places (like Philly), the FOP IS the union. Not here.

I don't know where the Minnesota State Police stand on the current conflict but I do think we need to be careful not to conflate the two organizations. The Fraternal Order of Police is a right-wing, private lobbying organization. They do not speak directly for any state or local police unit.
