Im looking through old MVP votes, and in 2003 10 different players got a 1st place vote for AL MVP, none of whom were pitchers. 10 players! 5 guys got at least 3 first place votes! Imagine if this year Maikel Garcia was like widely considered a viable MVP pick. That's basically what happened. Crazy.
