Natürlich könnten auch Konservative Ämter mit neutralen oder eigenen kompetenten Leuten besetzen, aber zum einen gibt es keine größere Demonstration von Macht, als sein Pferd zum Senator zu ernennen. Zum anderen gibt es immer Leute, die von schwachen Institutionen profitieren.

Habeck hat kürzlich im TV gesagt, dass dieser Wahlkampf stark von einem Momentum abhängt. Keiner der Kampgnen zündet bisher. Dass Merz gestern die Brandmauer eingerissen hat, könnte ein solches Momentum sein. SPD und Grüne könnten sich als antifaschistische Bollwerk sogar gemeinsam präsentieren.
