It's an unusual part of the body to be complimented on, so I'm not surprised you were unsure how to respond.

I also once got complimented on my shoulders- which, to my mind, aren't particularly broad or otherwise noteworthy (although, in a different life, I'd have made a good prop forward!)

I once had someone compliment my eyelashes, and asked if I "did anything to them". I laughed and said "no, they're all natural; do you think I'd take such care with those and neglect the rest of me?"

In honor of National Poetry Day, the greatest parody rewrite of all time:
Screen cap of parodic version of William Blake's "The Tyger" that begins:
Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright
(Not sure if I spelled that right)
What immortal hand or eye
Could fashion such a stripy guy?
What the hammer that hath hewn it
Into such a chonky unit?
Did who made the lamb make thee,
Or an external franchisee?

@dmuma.bsky.social @derekbgayle.bsky.social Just listened to your @gimmickspod.bsky.social episode on Only Murders In The Building: The Boy From 6B. Really insightful, well-researched and well presented. I recently rewatched OMITB S1 and this episode was a real standout. Sterling work as usual! :)

Seven is an absolute masterpiece of tension. I remember seeing it in the cinema (underage but only just) and was enthralled. At a certain part during the Sloth scene, it was like an electrical charge was run through the row of seats I was on. Some of it's not aged well but it mostly still stands up!

David Fincher's "Seven" was released 30 years ago today. Where does it rank among your top serial killer movies?

You're contributing what you can without putting yourself at risk. You're probably doing more than a lot of people who ARE fit and healthy and COULD do more.
